LONDON FASHION WEEK SS18
Molly Goddard
THE LOOK: GIRLS WITH CURLS
The Molly Goddard show has never been your typical fashion walk. This year, the girls skipped all over fashion protocol when they were sent prancing down the runway clutching glasses of wines and puffing on e-cigs. Hair was wound round chopstick-thin tongs to create lively, bouncy curls and practical elastic hair bands pulled the wild curls from the face. "It's something we haven't seen in so long," said Luke Hersheson when asked about the curl trend. "After endless seasons of effortless, beachy waves, it's refreshing to see a look that is unapologetically 'done' and full of personality." For a show that's as energetic and playful as Molly Goddard's, this was definitely the most fitting hair look. Love the curls? Check out Hershesons two new permanent wave treatments here.
Anya Hindmarch
THE LOOK: KOOKY HOUSEWIFE CHIC
Inspired by suburbia and it's hidden joys of life, Anya's girls wore their hair up in 90s chignons and accessorised with accented head band and geeky glasses. The best bit? The deconstructed faux fringe peeping out from beneath the head band that was added for a modern, tougher finish. If you're as obsessed as we are about this look, try it out yourself with a Hershesons Clip In Fringe Extension.
Emilia Wickstead
THE LOOK: BOYISH ELEGANCE
Hair for Emilia Wickstead SS18 was soft with a center schoolboy parting. The front section of the hair was blowdried into a light, fluffly texture before falling in a soft wave behind the ear. Secured with hair grips and clear elastics, the overall finish was quintessentially english and feminine, a lovely compliment to a collection that balances contemporary elegance and subtle allure.
