Iris Law’s Sculptural Pixie Is A Modern Ode To Josephine Baker
Iris Law’s ultra-short pixie cut might be short but that doesn’t mean it’s not versatile. “I cut her hair ahead of the Fendi show,” says Luke Hersheson. “Even though it’s short, there are countless ways to wear it.”
For this look, Luke drew inspiration from 1920s images of Josephine Baker. With her signature slicked crop, Baker embodied showgirl glamour. “We gave a subtle nod to that era, while keeping it modern and fresh,” he explains.
The result? A sculptural, peroxide-blonde pixie that feels undeniably chic. To style it, Luke says, “I worked Almost Everything Cream through Iris’s hair, then created a low, deep parting. From there, I shaped a soft kiss curl across her forehead.”
Finished with oversized sunglasses and an all-black ensemble, Iris delivered a truly showstopping moment.
