The Cold-Air Blow-Dry Trick You Need To Know
If you always ignore the cold-shot button on your hairdryer, it’s time to start using it.
While heat helps dry and shape the hair, finishing each section with a blast of cool air helps set your style in place. Once you’ve created the shape you want with your brush and Great Hairdryer – whether that’s a bend through the ends, a bouncy fringe or volume at the roots – keep the hair in position and switch to cold air for a few seconds before releasing it.
It’s a tiny extra step, but one that can help your blow-dry hold its shape for longer. It’s especially useful on hair that tends to drop quickly after styling.
