Keira Knightley stepped out at this year’s Wimbledon in impeccable style. Paired with a pitch-perfect white dress and oversized sunglasses was a haircut that stole the show: an effortless French bob.

Freshly cut by our founder, Luke, that morning, the new style was tailored with invisible layers throughout and soft, face-framing pieces around the front. “She’d cut her hair a little shorter for a film role, but it felt quite classic and a bit heavy, so we re-cut it that morning,” he explains. “Keira has naturally thick hair, so we removed a lot of weight while adding invisible layers to create movement and softness.”

Once the cut was complete, Luke misted Air Dry Spray through the mid-lengths and ends before blow-drying the hair. He then used the Great Iron to create subtle, irregular bends throughout. “It’s the easiest way to achieve a slightly kicked-out finish through the ends,” he says. “The result is a cool, effortless bob with plenty of movement.”

To finish, he worked a small amount of Almost Everything Cream through the hair to define the texture and smooth any flyaways, leaving the style polished yet undone.
