The trend is surging in popularity in the fashion world; only recently the Givenchy show in Paris featured an abundance of pastel power, with all the models gracing the catwalk wearing pastel-themed pieces.
The Fall 2013 collection has been designed for strong women and it certainly takes an empowered female to make such a bold beauty statement.
All the models’ hair was pinned up in intricate coils and painted in various rainbow hues including shimmering pink, orange, purple and blue. The vibrant look was completed with minimalist sweet pink makeup.
Meanwhile at Chanel, all the models wore pastel-coloured wigs at the 2012/13 show in Versailles, France.
