If you’re tempted, there are a few things you should know before getting a bob if you’ve got finer hair: “You should always seek out blunt or textured bob styles,” he says. “Overly layered bobs can make the hair look much thinner. I also recommend keeping the length short to prevent the hair from looking flat or stringy.”
Too many layers can make hair ends look wispy and emphasise fineness, while thick serums or oils should be avoided too: “They can weigh the hair down and make it look flat,” says Elliot. “Use lightweight volumizing products, such as Zhoosh, which is super easy to use, instead.”
