How Luke Created Keira Knightley’s Lived-In Bob
When Keira Knightley stepped out at the recent Erdem show during London Fashion Week, she debuted a sublime bob that perfectly balanced ease and elegance. Created by our founder Luke, the cut feels lived-in and cool, yet carries a touch of effortless polish.
“I cut Keira’s hair the day before the show,” Luke explains. “She’d just wrapped filming on Black Doves and her hair was feeling quite heavy, so I removed a lot of weight from underneath. That allowed the ends to kick out slightly, giving it that soft, undone shape.”
To style, Luke worked Almost Everything Cream through damp hair before drying it on a low heat, using only his fingers to encourage natural movement and texture.
“Once it was dry, I misted Air Dry Spray throughout to lock in that broken texture and add a touch of hold,” he says. “As it dried, I tucked the hair behind her ears to create a subtle frame around the jawline – it keeps the look refined, but still relaxed.”
And voila, a look that dreams were made of.
