6 WAYS TO BEAT FRIZZY HAIR

PREVENT FRIZZ
One of the great things about Almost Everything Cream is that it’s both a prevention and a cure for frizz. Apply one to two pumps immediately when you get out of the shower and it’ll create a protective barrier that seals out moisture to stop frizz forming. Bonus tip: use only a microfibre towel to gently squeeze any moisture out before applying product. Never – ever – rub your hair because that’s only going to end up one way…
PREP FOR A SMOOTH BLOW DRY
Beating frizz is all in the preparation. To get this right, you’ll need to layer your products. First, use Almost Everything Cream post-shower on wet hair to prevent frizz forming later and condition. Then layer Zhoosh Foam over the top, adding it to the roots and mid-lengths to prep for a full blow dry with plenty of shape and movement.
HOW TO AIR DRY FRIZZY HAIR
That said, you don’t have to blow dry your hair in order to beat frizz. Simply apply your one to two pumps of Almost Everything Cream as above then, leave your hair to dry while it does the hard work for you. And when we say leave it; we mean do not – under any circumstances – brush as your hair starts to dry. You will literally be brushing frizz into your hair.
If you’ve got naturally curly hair, twist Almost Everything Cream into your mid-lengths and ends then hold a diffuser next to your hair on the lowest, coolest setting, to mimic the action of air drying – while giving your hair a little help.
TACKLE FRIZZ ON THE GO
For anyone that carries a lip balm everywhere they go to tackle dry lips, beating frizz works in a similar way. Our original 50ml version of Almost Everything Cream is famous for slipping into handbags, gym bags and travel bags; it also sits on desks up and down the country – and hides out in glove compartments. Rub a tiny smidgen between your hands and gently use them to smooth frizz as it appears throughout the day. Just like topping up that lip balm as and when you need to.
PERFECT YOUR PONY
A simple take on a nineties pony is another great solution. Simply smooth your hair back into a tight pony on the bone at the back of the head – leaving the ends looped into your hair tie. The result is a style that’s smoother around the top and sides – but has a little shape and interest at the back.
ADD LIFT WITHOUT FRIZZ
Ok, so frizz-free hair with root lift and shape feels like a bit of a contradiction. But again, using your products in a complementary way can help you achieve the seemingly impossible. Use AEC to beat frizz on dry hair as above, then rub some Zhoosh Foam into your roots until it disappears and it’ll instantly add lift in the areas where you need it most.
