Everything you need to know

We couldn’t be more thrilled about giving you Great Hair again.
And now, we need your help. In order to keep you and our team safe – and our doors wide open – we ask that you stick to our new safety guidelines. Let’s get together – but stay apart – and revel in having Great Hair.

Arriving Arriving

Please make sure you’ve read all of our safety guidelines.
We ask that you come only at your appointment time, or you’ll need to wait outside.
Be sure to come alone or with members of your household only.
If you or your household have had any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, please stay at home.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may not go ahead.
We’ll ask you to sanitise your hands at reception.
You must also check in on the NHS app or use the QR code at reception for track and trace.
All Hershesons staff are required to present a negative test before entering the salons.

Cleaning Cleaning

Every salon has now undergone a deep clean and windows, doors and vents will be kept open where possible.
We have allowed an extra 15 minutes between appointments so that your seating area – along with all combs and scissors – can be completely sterilised.
Our cloakroom is currently closed so please travel light!
We wash every robe at 60°C between all appointments.
We’ll hand you your own sanitised bag containing a freshly washed gown and a face mask that we will ask you to wear whilst in store.
There are antibacterial gel stations at around the salons for you to use throughout your appointment.
Our team will also be sterilising their hands regularly.
Our bathrooms are completely sanitised even more regularly.
Our brushes will be provided in a sanitised bag that will be opened in front of you and we will be using eco-friendly disposable towels.

ppe PPE

Anyone from our team who is washing, colouring or styling your hair will be wearing a mask and/or visor.

Stay safe Stay safe & keep your distance

As an extra precaution, we’re sticking to the 2m rule and will only be filling every other hair station.
There are now Perspex screens at reception and in the middle of all hair stations.
Please follow the one-way system that’s clearly marked throughout our spaces.
Any client or member of staff who is feeling at all unwell will be asked to go home.

Hands free Go hands-free

We’re minimising touch-points to maintain hygiene standards – so our doors will remain open.
We accept card payments only.
Please bring cash in an envelope for any tips.
