How Luke Created Camila Morrone’s 90s Bombshell Blowout
At The Night Manager Season 2 premiere last week, Camila Morrone stepped onto the red carpet with voluminous hair that felt both modern and undeniably glamorous. Channeling old-school allure and iconic supermodel volume, our founder Luke looked to ’90s references for inspiration – think Cindy Crawford in her heyday, alongside the glossy confidence of vintage Guess campaigns.
While it was a standout red carpet moment, this is also a surprisingly wearable look. Perfect for a Christmas party or for anyone wanting to add a little extra gloss and drama to their everyday style, it’s proof that big, beautiful hair never goes out of fashion.
Here’s how Luke created the look:
“I started by using loads of Hershesons Air Dry Spray throughout the hair. It gives incredible grip and memory without ever looking or feeling stiff. I then blow-dried using the Hershesons Great Hairdryer and a medium Pro Dry Brush, really leaning into an old-school, classic blowout technique, before setting the hair to lock everything in place.
Once the hair was taken out and the waves and volume were established, I worked Hershesons Almost Everything Cream through the mid-lengths and ends, brushing it through with our Mixed Bristle Brush. To finish, I perfected the shape with a light mist of Elnett and a little more Almost Everything Cream, brushing through with our Wide Tooth Comb to add separation, movement and softness.”
The result? Touchable, full-bodied bombshell hair with a flattering side parting that beautifully framed Camila’s face and delivered effortless 90s glamour.
