As the sun sets on another summer and we start to get back into work mode, it’s a great time to consider how we do things, whether that’s forming new routines or investing in a new wardrobe. At Hershesons, naturally, we’re all about a new haircut, so here are some of our favourites for autumn here.

New-Gen Pixie Cut

If you saw our email earlier this week, you’ll know we’re currently loving the pixie cut – see Taylor Russell as a great example of the look. Wear it slick and shiny or mussed-up and textured, but the key lies in the detail.



Kicked bob

We still can’t get enough of the kicked bob, a style beloved by Gigi Hadid and more recently Hailee Steinfeld. Cut between the jaw and shoulders, the style features a flick at ends and looks effortless and cool. Perfect for autumn.



 



Long and undone

Have you seen Angelina Jolie’s buttery blonde lengths lately? While we’re all obsessed with shorter bobs and pixie cuts, there are still an array of A-listers doing long hair well. Make like Angelina, Amal Clooney and Nicole Kidman and wear with a soft wave – oh, and no you don’t need to cut your hair off when you reach midlife.



Bora Bora Braids

We’re championing an effortless, bohemian look in the braid department too. Bora Bora braids are loose and light, and feature braids that are plaited in line with the rest of your natural curls – see singer Tems for inspo.



Midi-lobs

In-between styles are coming back, and no one is doing it better than Emily Ratajkowski, Monica Bellucci and Salma Hayek. Proof that you don’t need to be definitive in your length, these simple styles look best with waves or some texture through mid-lengths and ends.
