Half and half

Whether you’ve got fine, flat hair or simply want to maximise your natural volume, this look is all about adding body from root to tip, then concentrating large, barreling movement towards the ends. The front has a curtain-like sweep to frame your face and really accentuate your cheekbones.

Think the ‘90s supermodels: it’s a real power blow dry that exudes confidence and will easily take you from day to night. Arm yourself with smoothing, body-building Zhoosh Foam and these blow dry brushes to create lift at the root, and add movement at the ends. Wavy gravy

This is a far more laid-back look with a piecey texture and a super loose wave. It’s tousled, a bit beachy and feels like second-day hair – great in a centre parting or when you flick the front to one side. Gisele, Gigi Hadid and Olivia Palermo look great with this look – but the key is to prevent fuzz before adding in the beachy movement.

Press the water out of your hair after washing to remove moisture – winding your hair up in a towel will only create a halo of fuzz later. Instead, apply one to two pumps of Almost Everything Cream while your hair is wet to beat frizz. Brush it through and rough dry.
