Unless otherwise stated all rights, including trade marks and copyright, in this website are owned by Hershesons, our affiliates, our licensors and/or our suppliers in the UK, US and other countries and are protected by UK and international trade mark laws. You are permitted to print or download extracts from this website, provided that it is solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. However, you may not modify, delete, distribute or post anything on this website for any purpose and no part of this website may be stored in any other website or otherwise made available to the public without our written permission. If you breach these terms and conditions your permission to use this site terminates automatically and you must destroy any printed or downloaded extracts.
In order to make a purchase through the Hershesons website or to use some of the services or features made available to you on our website you will be required to register. Your registration is for your own individual use and you are not permitted to share your user name or password.
When you register, you will be required to provide information about yourself including, your name, telephone number and email address; you warrant that any information you submit is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. You are required to notify us immediately should any of your details change.
When ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details. You warrant that the payment details you provide are valid and correct and that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.
By ordering on our website you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and can lawfully enter into binding contracts under English law.
This website is directed solely at consumers who access it from the UK and currently we do not accept orders from non-UK residents. However, if you are not a UK resident and would like more information about how you can purchase our products in your country, please email us at email@example.com.
ACCURACY OF CONTENT
We have taken great care to ensure that details, descriptions and prices quoted are accurate. We will only accept orders if there are no material errors in the description of the products or its price as advertised on this website. Please be aware that the packaging may vary from that shown, the weights and dimensions are approximate only and colours may vary due to monitor settings. All items are subject to availability.
PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are shown inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order will be (i) the price of the products ordered, (ii) VAT at the current rate and (iii) delivery charges as set out in the delivery options section of this website.
Payment can be made by: Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Electron, Solo, JCB, Maestro, Amex. Payment will be debited when your order is despatched. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of product if the card issuer of your payment card refuses to pay or does not authorise the payment. We retain the legal ownership until full payment has been received and title will transfer back to us if we refund you. Risk in the products transfers to you on delivery.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
We will confirm receipt of your order by e-mail as soon as possible. If we are unable to fulfill your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone. Our acceptance of your order will take place on despatch of the product(s) ordered. We may not accept your order if an item you have ordered is out of stock, if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. If you require any information regarding an order please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
We will deliver the product in accordance with the delivery option selected by you and in any case no later than 30 days. Please view our delivery options for full details. Working days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays. Any delivery timescales are indicative only.
Please inspect the product on receipt and check that everything in the delivery note is included. Unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem and cancel the order in accordance with your cancellation right or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policy and procedure, you will be deemed to have accepted the order and we shall be under no obligation to accept any rejection at a later date. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer you can cancel your order within seven working days from the date of receipt of the goods if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition. Such staff may be engaged in web fulfillment of your order, the processing of payment details and provision of web hosting and other support services. By submitting data you agree to this transfer storing and processing. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is adequately protected.
We may collect data about you by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies allow us to: recognise your computer when you access www.hershesons.com and log into your account with your user name and password; and remember the goods that you placed in your shopping bag and saves you having to enter the basic contact information that you provided us with on setting up your Hershesons account. ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Data Protection Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised by contacting us in writing at Customer Services, Hershesons, 45 Conduit street, London W1S 2YN. We may charge a fee of up to £10 to meet out costs of providing this information.
If you are a consumer you can cancel your order within seven working days from the day after the date the goods were delivered if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing. For health and safety reasons you must return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition. If you have cancelled your contract within this cooling off period your payment for the goods will be refunded by Hershesons as soon as possible by the original payment method, and no later than 30 working days from the date of cancellation. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded and you will be responsible for the cost or returning the item to us.
If you are a consumer you have the right to return faulty goods within a reasonable period of time. Where replacement of faulty goods in no longer possible due to, for example to non-continuance of the product, returned defective products shall be refunded in full including delivery charges and the cost of returning the item to us.

Our electrical items are warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase against any material defects in workmanship or materials.
You will need your original proof of purchase and any return charges are not covered.
This warranty is valid only if this product has been purchased from Hershesons in the UK. Where your electrical item has been purchased from a third party distributor; in this instance your consumer rights would lie with the point of sale.
The tool is not warranted against abuse, misuse and damage, or from daily use wear and tear beyond life expectancy of major componentry.
Irons and wands should last up to approximately 2500 hours.
To claim on the warranty please refer to the instructions contained in the packaging of your electrical item or e-mail our customer services team on firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you wish to return an item, please email our customer services team at email@example.com to obtain a returns authorisation number. You will need to provide: (i) full details of your customer order number, (ii) details of the items you wish to return, (iii) whether you would like a refund, replacement or exchange, and (iv) the reasons for the return. We will then send you a returns authorisation e-mail.
To ensure that your return is processed please ensure that: (i) your returns authorisation number is included with your return package, (ii) the goods are wrapped securely in the same outer packaging in which you received them, (iii) your package is sent by recorded delivery (retaining your recorded delivery receipt as proof of postage) to the address indicated on the returns authorisation email.
