TREND ALERT - ARE YOU MIDDLE OR SIDE
We are a tad bored of middle parts and so we are very pleased to see a much needed return to the side part – shown here at Jil Sander, Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta and Victoria Beckham – Luke created them in London at Daks and Michael van der Ham – a little more grown up we think with a touch of toughness

A ballerina in Croydon was Lukes thinking behind this über classic bun mixed with a face lifting ponytail and slick texture at Peter Pilotto – the perfect mix of hard and soft

Luke nicknamed this look "the plonkons" because he felt they really felt like a wig that had been literally plonked on the head – there was no attempt to cover up the fact this was a wig in its rawest form with a major salute to the punks of the early 80's in Kings Road

Alexandre de Paris – the iconic french coiffeur in the 50's was the inspiration for this thrown up hairstyle at Daks – done with no backcombing and an over use of barette clips – we think coupled with a boyish side parting its feels tres modern
