The newest crops have no femininity left in them. Playing with fashion's androgynous trend, these crops are finished with mannish styling techniques. This look highlights the face's features, and looks infinitely more interesting than other lengths at the moment.


C IS FOR: CLIP INS

C is for: CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS

Clip-in extensions used to be thought of as 'tacky' but those days are well and truly over. Thanks to the sudden availability in super natural-looking extensions, everyone's dabbling in a bit of hair trickery these days.

Whether you're looking for a volume boost or just want to try out a temporary new look, clip-in extensions are a great, fuss-free way to achieve the hair you want.


D IS FOR DARING

D is for: DARE TO TRY NEW THINGS

..like the hottest new colour trend taking the 'gram by a fiery storm: BLORANGE.

If you're wondering, this peachy-pink hue gets it's name from 'blood orange', and has actually been around for a while despite only getting mass attention recently. (Georgia May Jagger first debuted her colourful mane last year.)

The best thing about 'blorange'? You can adjust the hue to suit your skin tone - add more pink with a darker complexion, or go full on orange on fair skin.


E IS FOR ETHICAL

E is for: ETHICAL AND CRUELTY-FREE!

Who said that great hair had to come at a price?

The demand for cruelty and chemical-free choices has been boosted over the past few years by increased awareness. Because of this, beauty companies are beginning to embrace ethical practices like never before. In the past, ethical beauty shops were scare, but as the consumer continues to be sensitive to the moral principles of product-buying, this will never be the case again.

So why not keep an eye out for these ethically-committed brands next time you go for a shampoo shop?


F IS FOR: FAUX BOB

F is for: FAUX BOBS

Commitment-phobe friendly styles are always a win. They're fun, without any of the stress of a major sacrifice. The latest in the 'faking-it' trend is the faux bob, seen recently on Shay Mitchell and Emily Ratajkowski.


G IS FOR: GET FRINGED

G is for: GET A FRINGE

Hair styles have become braver, and what used to be a dramatic and scary cut, it's now really not a big deal. The rules have changed.. In fact, a lot of the rules are gone. The old beliefs that you had to be a certain face shape or hair texture to suit a look is old news. In the fringe trend's case, it actually looks just as good (if not better) on super-curly hair as it does on thick, straight locks.

Still nervous? Take a clip-in fringe extension for a test run before going under the scissors.


H IS FOR: HATE STYLING

H is for: HATE EVERYDAY STYLING?

These days, the cut of your mane is more important than ever. This movement has been dubbed 'the return of the cut', and stylists everywhere are devising ways to combat their client's hair problems whilst they're still in the salon seat. They'e literally cutting away hair problems. (Take the 'thickening hair cut' on thin hair for example.)

So if you hate having a long, chore-like styling regime, let your stylist know. Fortunately, the current super-cuts, like the Antibob, Thickening Cut etc, are all designed to be 'undone' and has a coolness you just don't get with styled hair.
